We offer three job opportunity types
- Fixed contract – We have already negotiated with our customer and we offer these jobs to our craftsmen for the negotiated fixed price (including labor and materials).
- Negotiated Contract – We invite one or more of our craftsmen to bid on the job. We then award the job to one of the bidders based upon your previous history of providing our customers exceptional service, your quality of workmanship and finally the price you submitted to us.
- Time and Material – This job type is small in scope and generally takes from a few hours to a day to complete.
Q and A
How do I get paid?
All invoices turned in for completed work by Friday, will be paid the following Friday.
Do I need to be licensed?
No. We hold all state contractor licenses for work performed.
Do I need to provide insurance?
No. You will be covered for workers compensation and general liability insurance while working on our job.
How do I know the scope of the job?
We provide you a blueprint and detailed scope of work.
How are materials calculated?
All of our estimates include a 5% – 10% waste. The following items are never included in your contract: finish hardware, plumbing fixtures, electric fixtures, ceramic tile, wood floors, carpet, cabinets, counter tops, appliances, or special order products.
What about unexpected items not listed on the detailed job scope?
Contact the project manager. He will meet and discuss the situation with you. If any changes are approved, he will issue you a written approved change order. We do not expect you to absorb any costs for any unexpected or hidden items, however we do not pay for any extras or changes without a pre-approved written change order.
Do you award jobs for labor only?
Generally, we do not have labor only jobs. It is our goal to assist our tradespeople to grow a successful business. The short answer is no. However we do offer the following… At the start of each job, we will provide you with a material list we have estimated for the job. You may add or delete items from this list. We will order and pay for the materials (which will be deducted from your contract amount). Then you may pick up the pre-paid materials or we can have the materials delivered to the job for you. Note our suppliers charge a $50 delivery fee.
What happens when the materials cost less than the stated amount on the estimate or I use less materials?
You keep the extra money saved on this project.
